Our Story

Shiok is owned and operated by Ivan Lee who was based in Dubai between 2017 and 2021 while he served as the Station Manager for Singapore Airlines.

Ivan is passionate about his food just like any other Singaporean. During his time in Dubai, he noticed the lack of genuine Singaporean food that represented the true flavours of signature dishes from the cosmopolitan city-state.

After his tenure in Dubai, Ivan briefly moved back to Singapore and started to work on a plan to bring the best Singaporean cuisine to Dubai.
